Property Sourcing and Negotiation
The Bagel Bar Coffee House will assist our prospective franchise partner in sourcing units in desired locations within the agreed territory. However part of the franchisee selection criteria will be the franchise partners ability and or expertise through their current and / or previous business experience in developing and expanding a brand or business.
Training and Store Management
Each franchise partner as part of the agreement terms will provide a minimum of 4 staff upto 12 staff members who will receive an extensive four week training session on-site in your new flagship store. The training covers all aspects of operating / managing a Bagel Bar Coffee House outlet. The training programme’s objective is to develop an in-depth understanding of the concepts, practices and policies of all functions necessary to successfully operate and manage a Bagel Bar Coffee House franchise outlet.
Marketing
Each franchise partner will operate a centralised marketing strategy as set out in the terms of the master franchise agreement. The basis of which is to increase the brand and store recognition in the agreed region or territory. The marketing budget agreed will enable advertising on broadcast and print media, engendering brand awareness and loyalty.

Realistic Costs and Savings
Each country and or regional franchise agreement and the cost associated will depend on the size and potential of each territory and or region . In agreeing the terms the franchisor and prospective franchise partner will also agree specific store specifications (materials used and equipment required), store design, layout and proprietary food products to be used. All of these terms are agreed to protect the brand’s quality and service whilst also pursuing realistic costs and savings for all parties concerned.

Detailed Operations Manual
Each franchise partner receives as part of the agreement terms an operations manual to guide you in all aspects of your business. You will also be provided with a food safety manual and a health & safety manual along with a number of other in-house training manuals. Each franchise partner may be required to amend, translate and or adjust all manuals depending on the specific territory and the company or regional laws appropriate to that jurisdiction.

Initial Support

Next Step - Mutual Evaluation
Complete prospective franchise partner Initial Application and send us your business profile/material. In completing the application, it is important to demonstrate your business experience and current/future management structure.
You shall then receive our official terms and conditions for the grant of The Bagel Bar Coffee House franchise right to your company in the target market.
Study terms and conditions carefully. Should the terms and conditions be acceptable, send an official acceptance letter. The acceptance letter should be complimented by a brief timely action plan showing the process leading to acquiring the first of The Bagel Bar Coffee House locations in the target market and commencement of contracting and décor work.

How Can I Obtain The Bagel Bar Coffee House Franchise?

What Is The Initial Franchise Fee And The Continuing Service And Royalty Fee?
The initial franchise fee is €20,000. A €10,000 deposit is paid initially with the balancing amount payable when the franchise agreement is signed. Once a Franchisee opens for business a royalty fee – 7% of stores turnover / sales is payable. A further 2% of turnover / sales is payable into our marketing fund. All of this marketing fund is used to advertise and promote the stores and brand.
How Long Does My Franchise Last?
The initial term is 10 years, after which you may renew for an additional 10 year period subject to the current franchise terms in place at the renewal date.
Am I Given Territorial Protection?
Yes. We will mutually agree and establish a marketing territory, in which you will have exclusive rights.
Do I Lease The Premises?
In some cases The Bagel Bar Coffee House will acquire the head lease on a property and offer a licence agreement to trade from the property. In most cases the franchisee will have the lease in their own name / company name.
Do I Receive Training From The Bagel Bar Coffee House?
Yes. Franchisee’s must attend and successfully complete a four week training programme at one of The Bagel Bar Coffee House outlets. The cost of this training is included in your initial franchise cost.
What Type of Operational Guidance Will I Receive?
In addition to your training, you will receive The Bagel Bar Coffee House Operations Manual covering the many important aspects of your operation. You will also receive a food safety manual and a health & safety manual. These manuals are updated regularly and revisions will be made available to you.
Do I Buy My Food Ingredients and Supplies From You?
You purchase bagels and other proprietary supplies through the franchise company. All of these proprietary products and all other items are purchased from specific third party nominated suppliers, to ensure the product supplied in all stores is of a standardised high quality.
What About Advertising?
Each of The Bagel Bar Coffee House stores contributes 2% of its store turnover / sales for The Bagel Bar Coffee House advertising and promotional programmes. This money shall be used for the development of The Bagel Bar Coffee House brand and to advertise the stores within the brand.
Can I Sell My Franchise?
Yes. Like any other business, you can sell your operation to any buyer approved by The Bagel Bar Coffee House Franchise Co. There is a transfer fee for administrative, legal and training expenses to effect the transfer
How Soon Can I Be In Operation Once I have Been Accepted As A Franchise?
Since you need a suitable location prior to training, we would estimate that you could be in operation within 2 – 6 months of signing the Franchise Agreement.
How Much Can I Expect To Earn?
Your profit and loss will depend on a number of factors such as your area, the amount of time you spend on the job, how good a businessperson you are, and market conditions. Naturally, as in any business venture, there is no guarantee as to success and profitability. We help minimise your risk by giving you the benefit of a well-organised system and concept.
I Would Like To Study Your Franchise Agreement. Will You Send Me One?
Our franchise agreement is a valuable document, which we do not distribute indiscriminately. However, once you have had a personal meeting with our Representative, and paid an initial booking deposit of €10,000 we will be happy to provide you with a copy of the franchise agreement. Upon receiving your franchise contract you have 30 days for your nominated solicitor to check through the contract and agree the terms after which your deposit is non refundable. This deposit is deductible from the €20,000 franchise licence fee.
